Kerry Pierce

Hello and thanks for your support! I was a stay-at-home-mom for 20 years and am now a 3L at Widener University Commonwealth Law School’s extended/part-time division, pupillage member of the James S. Bowman Inn of the Court, and VP of the Spirit of Service Organization. Spirit of Service, in partnership with the PA Bar Association, organizes the Dauphin County “Wills for Heroes” program that provides free wills and estate documents for veterans, first responders, and their families.

The goal of the Harrisburg Heroes Run is to bring awareness to the Spirit of Service Organization and the Wills for Heroes program, honor the sacrifices of our bravest local heroes, and use the proceeds to host additional Wills for Heroes events.

My husband, Eric Pierce, is an Air Force veteran, my father was a pararescueman in Vietnam, and many of my other family members have served in the armed forces. I have great respect for veterans, first responders, and people who help others.

I also served as an “Astonishing Advocate,” fundraising to help the Dauphin County Bar Foundation pay an attorney at MidPenn Legal for low-income children and their families: “Kerry Pierce Brings Creativity, Compassion to Astonishing Advocate Campaign.
