Kerry Pierce
Kerry Pierce was a stay-at-home-mom for 20 years and is now a 3L at Widener Commonwealth Law School’s extended/part-time division, pupillage member of the James S. Bowman Inn of the Court, and VP of the Spirit of Service Organization. Spirit of Service, in partnership with the PA Bar Association, organizes the Dauphin County “Wills for Heroes” program that provides free wills and estate documents for veterans, first responders, and their families. The goal of the Harrisburg Heroes Run is to bring awareness to this program, honor the sacrifices of our bravest local heroes, and use the proceeds to host additional Wills for Heroes events. Kerry founded the Pierce Group Initiative to help with this and other philanthropic efforts.
Kerry’s husband, Eric Pierce, is an Air Force veteran, her father was a pararescueman in Vietnam, and many of her other family members have served in the armed forces. She has great respect for veterans, first responders, and people who help others.
Kerry was recently an “Astonishing Advocate,” fundraising to help the Dauphin County Bar Foundation pay for an attorney at MidPenn Legal for low-income children and their families: “Kerry Pierce Brings Creativity, Compassion to Astonishing Advocate Campaign.”
