Honor and Sacrifice

For weeks you’ve heard about the upcoming PA Hometown Heroes banner program. Now the time has come to unveil the banners and recognize the fallen soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice to serve their country. You are invited to attend the PA Hometown Heroes Awareness Ceremony on Saturday, May 12, 2 pm at Soldiers’ Grove on the grounds of the Capitol Complex. Dennis Owens from ABC 27 News will serve as emcee for the ceremony, which will include a Color Guard presentation, speeches by high ranking state government officials and other dignitaries, memorial presentation by the Vietnam Veterans of America and a reading of the Roll of Honor.
